Privacy Policy

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated: July 10, 2026.

Who we are

This site is owned and operated by the International Due Diligence Organization (“IDDO,” “we,” “us”), operating from the State of Nevada, United States. You can reach us anytime at [email protected]. This Privacy Policy applies to internationalduediligence.com and its related sites, and should be read together with our Terms of Use.

What information we collect

We collect two types of information:

Information you provide voluntarily. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you email us — for example, about membership or certification — we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics services to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, what device and browser they use, and how they found us. This information is aggregated — we use it to see how well pages perform overall, not to track what any individual reads.

Analytics and cookies

We use two analytics services, each of which may set cookies or collect usage data in accordance with its own privacy policy:

Google Analytics (Google LLC) helps us measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site. Learn more at Google’s privacy policy, or opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

StatCounter provides aggregate visitor statistics. Learn more at StatCounter’s privacy policy.

Cookies are small text files placed in your browser. The cookies used on this site do not contain personal information beyond what you supply yourself, and they cannot read data from your device or from cookies created by other sites. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings — the site works fine without them.

Newsletter

Our email newsletter is managed through Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.). We collect the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe, and we never share our mailing list with any third party — including advertisers, sponsors, or partners. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can remove yourself at any time. Mailchimp’s handling of your data is described in its privacy statement.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the site, tailor our content to what readers find useful, send the newsletter to subscribers, and respond to your inquiries. Aggregate, non-identifying statistics may help us understand our audience, but under no circumstances do we divulge information about an individual user to a third party, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public.

Members directory

Our Members Directory lists the names and certification numbers of IDDO-certified members in good standing. If you are a listed member and would like your listing updated or removed, contact us at [email protected].

Children

Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

Security

We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect the information we hold. Our security and privacy practices are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary, and only authorized individuals have access to information provided by our members and subscribers.

Your choices

You can choose not to subscribe to the newsletter, unsubscribe at any time via the link in any newsletter, refuse cookies in your browser, and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on linked above. You may also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion of it.

Changes to this policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your consent to those changes.
